Celebrating undergraduate research, writing, and art is central to the value of a Saint Anselm College education.
Our mission is to foster excellence in undergraduate scholarship, creative work, and research in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. The annual S.O.A.R. event provides an opportunity for recognizing excellent student works; encourages and cultivates faculty-student interactions and collaborations; creates an institutional support structure for undergraduate scholarship; develops academic and professional skills necessary for students’ future careers and graduate study; enhances dialogue across disciplines; creates and sustains a culture of integrity, inquiry, and initiative; highlights effective undergraduate research models; and benefits a broad spectrum of undergraduates.
