Meal Plans

Our a-la-carte meal plans allow students to frequent our dining facilities as often as they choose. Each time a purchase is made with the meal card, a student's account balance is reduced accordingly, with no per visit purchase limit. This allows the student the opportunity to personalize and make the best use of their meal plan!

    • Resident Meal Plans

      As part of room and board, all students who live in traditional style campus residence halls are required to participate in a resident meal plan. Residential Meal Plan enrollment is per semester and balances do not roll over from semester to semester.

      Resident Standard Meal Plan

      All first-year students living on campus are required to participate in the Resident Standard Meal Plan.

      For students living in traditional residence halls, no action is required to enroll in the Resident Standard Meal Plan.

      At the beginning of each semester, $2,655 of the room and board fee is allocated to the student's meal plan. The funds on your meal account are yours to spend as you wish each semester.

      All Resident Meal Plan Participants will be allocated $530 of the total meal plan balance each semester, which can be used in the Coffee Shop after 7 p.m.

      Resident Meal Plan dollars are not accepted at the Gallo Café. Students wishing to make purchases at the Gallo Café should add funds to their Hawkbucks account (see below).

      Upperclassmen who reside in traditional style residence halls may choose to participate in the Resident Plus Meal Plan or the Resident Light Meal Plan rather than the Resident Standard Meal Plan.

      Resident Plus Meal Plan (available to upperclassmen)

      If you are a student who typically runs low on funds toward the end of the semester, you may choose to purchase the Resident Plus Meal Plan, which costs an additional $500 per semester. You will also receive a $125 bonus credit on your meal plan account, bringing your starting balance to $3,280.

      The Resident Plus Meal Plan operates the same way as the Resident Standard Meal Plan.

      If you wish to enroll in the Resident Plus Meal Plan, please email Financial Services at FinancialServices@anselm.edu with the subject line "Plus Meal Plan". Be sure to include student ID number in the body of the email.

      The deadline to enroll in Resident Plus Meal Plan is August 15, 2019.

      Resident Light Meal Plan (available to upperclassmen)

      Students who are light eaters or who are not on campus seven days a week may want to choose the Resident Light Meal Plan. This plan will result in a $300 credit to your room and board fee each semester, bringing your starting balance to $2,355.

      The Resident Light Meal Plan operates the same way as the Resident Standard Meal Plan

      If you wish to enroll in the Resident Light Meal Plan, please email Financial Services at FinancialServices@anselm.edu with the subject line "Light Meal Plan". Be sure to include student ID number in the body of the email.

      The deadline to enroll in Resident Light Meal Plan is August 15, 2019.

    • Apartment Meal Plan

      The Apartment Meal Plan is a meal plan option that is automatically billed to all students who reside in on-campus apartment housing as part of their Room & Board.

      The Apartment Meal Plan is a $1200 per semester meal plan that can be used at all on-campus dining facilities at any time of day. At the end of each semester, unspent balances will be transferred to Hawkbucks. (see below)

      Students may elect to decline the Apartment Meal Plan. If you do not wish to participate, please send an email to FinancialServices@anselm.edu with the subject "Decline Apartment Meal Plan". Be sure to include your Student ID Number in the body of the email.

      Enrollment is automatic. Deadline to decline enrollment in Apartment Meal Plan is August 15, 2019.

    • Hawk Bucks

      Hawkbucks are available to all students and are accepted at ALL on-campus dining facilities, including the Gallo Cafe.

      In addition to all on-campus dining facilities, Hawkbucks can also be used at the College's bookstore, mailroom, and on select on-campus vending machines.

      Hawkbucks never expire and are refunded upon graduation or withdrawal from the College.
