The Juried '11 Fine Arts Student Exhibition included forty-nine works by students from a variety of majors and departments across the college. The exhibition submissions were open to any student who had completed a Fine Arts studio course. Sixteen of the twenty-six student artists selected for this competitive show were Fine Arts Majors or Fine Arts Minors, and ten of them won awards: Christopher Cadena, '12 (Minor, Studio Art); Carlo D'Anselmi, '13 (Minor, Studio Art); Mary Feenan, '12 (Major, Art History); Meredith Graf, '11 (Major, Studio Art); Laura Foley, '12 (Minor, Art and Art History); Christopher Mobilia (Major, Studio Art); Jenna Jarosz, '11 (Major, Studio Art); Christina Staltare, '12 (Major, Studio Art); Will Suglia, '11 (Major, Studio Art); Jessica Sutherland, '11 (Major, Studio Art).
This year marked the tenth anniversary of the annual Juried Fine Arts Student Exhibition. This year's distinguished Juror was New Hampshire artist Sandy Wadlington. Ms. Wadlington works with pastel, oil, and printmaking and focuses on New England landscapes. She is represented by McGowan Fine Art Gallery in Concord, N.H.
