Saint Anselm History
Saint Anselm College has always been a part of my life. I grew up behind the athletic fields and learned to ride a bike on campus. I tried to avoid coming home for college after enjoying the freedoms of living away at boarding school, but on a run through campus on Sunday in May of 1995, I suddenly felt that a full scholarship to Boston University was worth giving up. I called the admissions department and begged for them to review one more application. I have never looked back. I met my husband on campus, got married in the Abbey Church and feel humbled and privileged to work as part of the nursing faculty. As cliché as it may sound, Saint Anselm is my home. The members of the monastic community, faculty, staff, students and their families are part of a meaningful and cherished community.
