Application Process

Each applicant will be expected to:

• Demonstrate an intention to pursue graduate school and to pursue an academic teaching and/or research career
• Complete the program application forms
• Submit a 400-word essay
• Submit unofficial transcript
• Submit a resume
• Provide two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a faculty member within the student's major

Renewal for a second year of funding is dependent upon the student's performance during her junior year. The student must maintain a 3.0 GPA through the end of her junior year. In addition, Luce Scholars will be expected to submit a self-assessment report at the end of each year of the award.

Application Deadline

All applications and supporting materials must be received by February 19, 2010 and returned to:
