Center for Experiential Learning
Launching in the spring 2012 semester, the Saint Anselm College Mentor Program is a partnership between Saint Anselm College's Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) and the Manchester School District. This program, jointly coordinated by the CEL's Internship Office and Meelia Center for Community Engagement, is a true blend of a traditional internship and a service-learning course. With a one semester commitment (although students may participate more than once), Saint Anselm College students serve as mentors to students in one of two surrounding elementary schools (4th graders) and provide encouragement, information and support to assist those students in becoming successful as they navigate from elementary school to middle school.
Additional information about the program, and an application to participate can be found on the "Initiatives" page of the Center for Experiential Learning website.
