The New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College is pleased to announce that longtime political strategist and analyst Patrick Griffin will join the institute as a senior fellow this spring to serve as a resource for students, faculty, and the media through the New Hampshire Presidential Primary next year.

"We are excited for Pat Griffin to come on as a fellow during this very important time in our state," said NHIOP Executive Director Neil Levesque. "His political expertise will be highly beneficial to the institute and the college's students and faculty."

Griffin is the founding partner, chairman, and CEO of Griffin York & Krause, the largest advertising, strategic communications, and integrated marketing firm in Northern New England. His practice includes his work for political clients, including former President George H.W. Bush, President George W. Bush, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, and Sen. John E. Sununu, among many other politicians and candidates.

In addition, Griffin has been a guest lecturer at the John F. Kennedy Institute of Politics at Harvard, provided political commentary and analysis for MSNBC, CNN's Inside Politics, Fox News, and NPR, and he is the author of Pay No Attention to that Man Behind the Curtain: How technology has made traditional advertising obsolete.

While in-residence during his yearlong fellowship, Griffin will provide commentary to national and local media on the presidential primary, visit with Saint Anselm students and faculty, present to Saint Anselm's "New Hampshire Primary" class that begins in the fall, and offer assistance to the college's new minor, "Campaign Management."
