Are you a high school student or do you know a high school student who would benefit from a program that helps students acquire essential leadership skills, enhance their college applications, and learn more about government and politics? If so, please check out the New Hampshire Institute of Politics' Civic Leadership Academy (CLA).
The 2010 CLA, which runs from July 16-24, is an intensive residential summer program at Saint Anselm College for New Hampshire high school students (16 and older) interested in government, politics and public policy. Under the guidance of outstanding Saint Anselm faculty and state leaders, students discover how our state and local governments operate, interact with those who are currently influencing public policy in our communities, and examine principles and models of civic leadership.
Applications are due by May 15, and can be downloaded here. If you have any additional questions or would like to recommend a student for this program, please contact the NHIOP main office at (603) 222-4100 or email@example.com.
