The one hundred and twenty-five students and community members in Boston today have now been accounted for. Those student runners and spectators with Professor Paul Finn returned to campus at 8:30 p.m. tonight.
Father Jonathan DeFelice, O.S.B., president of Saint Anselm College issued the following message regarding the explosions in Boston today:
Dear Members of the Saint Anselm College Community:
As you have probably heard, explosives were set off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. A number of Saint Anselm College students went to the marathon to run it or observe.
We are working to confirm the safety of all Saint Anselm College students and other members of the community who went to Boston as runners or spectators.
Many students, faculty and staff have personally spoken with students in Boston. We have heard of no injuries at this time.
Let us keep everyone involved in our prayers.
