Psychology Honor Society Inducts 17 Students

Psi Chi, the national psychology honor society, inducted 17 Saint Anselm students for the 2016-2017 academic year. Students are considered for membership in Psi Chi if they completed at least three courses in psychology in which they earn an overall minimum grade point average of 3.0, register for a major or minor in psychology, and rank in the upper 35 percent of their class.

Psi Chi strives to "encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields and to advance the science of psychology." Founded in 1929, the society lists chapters in more than 700 colleges and universities in the United States.
