In order to make the drive as efficient as possible Health Services has asked potential donors to meet the requirements below or wait until future drives.
You should not participate if:
1) you have spent 3 months or more in the UK, or 6 months or
more in Europe
2) it has been 56 days since your last donation
3) you are under 17 years of age
4) you are taking antibiotics for an infection
5) you weigh less than 110 pounds
6) you have had hepatitis after age 11
7) you have a sore throat or bad cold (cough and congestion)
8) you have had mumps or measles vaccine in the past 2 weeks
9) you have had mumps or measles and rubella (MMR) vaccine in the past month
10) you have had a tattoo or a non-sterile body piercing in the last 12 months
11) you have a history of undiagnosed polyps, lumps or tumors
12) you have history of benign polyps, lumps or tumors that have not been removed when removal is required for treatment
13) you have engaged in any behavior that would put you at risk for the AIDS virus
