Listed here are mathematics resources that I use for the Calculus-Based Physics course that I teach at Saint Anselm College

`Derivatives.pdf Integration.pdf Vectors.pdf UnitVectors.pdf`	Math Handouts (pdf). Calculus is a co-requisite (rather than a prerequisite) for the calculus-based physics course that I teach at Saint Anselm College. The math handouts address calculus topics that students encounter in the physics course before they see them in their mathematics course.
`MathHandouts.doc.zip (112 kb)`	Math Handouts (Zipped MS Word files) The four math handouts in the form of four MS Word^TM files compressed into one zip file.
`add2vectors.xls add3vectors.xls`	Vector Addition Spreadsheets Two spreadsheets set up to add vectors and display the corresponding head-to-tail vector addition diagram.
`avgWithErrA4.xls (64 kb)`	Average with Error Spreadsheet A spreadsheet set up to determine the mean and standard deviation of a column of values entered by the user and to display the distribution as a bar graph along with a scaled gaussian curve determined from the mean and standard deviation. The curve aids the user in judging whether the data is part of a gaussian distribution.
`gaussEPv6.xls.zip (180 kb) (expands to ~1Mb)`	Gaussian Error Propagation Spreadsheet A spreadsheet set up to determine the distribution (mean and standard deviation plus a histogram) for the case of a function of one to six variables when each of the variables is characterized by a guassian distribution of known mean and standard deviation.
`MathSkillsVideo.pdf PlayMathSkillsVideo Right Click Belowto Download: MathSkillsVideo.mov (250 Mb) MathSkillsVideo.mp4 (471 Mb)`	Math Skills Video The pdf file contains an outline of the topics covered on the math skills video and the mov file is a QuickTime movie in which the pre-calculus math skills needed for either an algebra-based or a calculus-based physics course are reviewed. `calculus.exe.zip(12 Mb)`	Calculus ScreenCams A set of six short Lotus ScreenCam movies in the form of executable (.exe) files compressed into one zip file. You need to be running Windows to play these. The movie titles are: Derivatives, The Chain Rule for the Function of a Function, Taking the Derivative of a Power Function, The Chain Rule for the Product of Two Functions, and Finding the Extrema of a Function .
