CCM photographers, both staff and freelance, capture the beauty of our Hilltop and the vibrancy of the Anselmian community. Our images are used across a variety of projects, including print publications, websites, and digital news channels. We prioritize photography projects that align with the College's strategic focus while ensuring an efficient use of time, talent, and resources.

Strategic Focus

We prioritize photo coverage that:

  • Tells a compelling story that aligns with Saint Anselm College's priorities
  • Can be used across multiple channels beyond a single social media post*
  • Supports recruitment, enrollment, fundraising, or strategic campaigns
  • Elevates the Anselmian brand in a meaningful way by showcasing student, faculty, and alumni voices
  • Documents high-impact institutional news, events, or milestones

*While you will see our Director of Social Media often out and about with a camera, his focus is capturing content for the College's main social media accounts, not general photography coverage.

What We Routinely Cover

You'll often see our staff or freelancers around campus with their cameras. Here's some of what they're capturing:

  • Images that support strategic marketing
(student life, classroom scenes, academic research, campus beauty)
  • High-visibility events
(Orientation, Convocation, Homecoming, Reunion, Baccalaureate, Commencement)
  • Impactful Anselmian stories
(internships, service work, community-engaged learning, campus engagement)
  • Newsworthy moments
(major announcements, awards, groundbreaking events, dedications)
  • Donor-facing needs
    (stewardship, donor profiles, campaign milestones)
  • Operational or institutional needs
(portraits for upcoming communications, headshots for the campus directory)

Photo Support

To ensure we can deliver high-quality, high-impact work in a timely fashion, we are unable to accommodate every request. While we can't photograph every event, we're happy to support campus partners in other ways:

  • Recommendations for freelance and/or student photographers (for budgeted needs)
  • Guidance on how to take and submit high-quality photos for possible use
  • Loaner cameras (when available)
