Policies for Magdalen College students to transfer seamlessly
Magdalen College students will be required to fill out the Magdalen College Quick Admission Application and submit the following requirements:
- Magdalen College Transcript - unofficial to be accepted
- Transfer college report
- Authorization for Saint Anselm College to work with Magdalen College to transfer academic records.
Saint Anselm College will work with Magdalen College to obtain full academic records for the student, including but not limited to:
- Official Magdalen College transcript
- Admission file - including all transcripts (HS, Dual Enrollment, AP scores etc.)
Saint Anselm College commits to Magdalen College students to do everything in the College's power to help them graduate in the same time frame as they were scheduled at Magdalen College. This assumes the student remains in the same academic program at Saint Anselm College as they were in Magdalen College. This may include but is not limited to waiving policies such as:
- Core curriculum requirements
- The 64-credit residency requirement for upper-class students
- Allowing for enrollment in up to 2 winter or summer courses at no charge
Saint Anselm College commits to Magdalen College students to do everything in the College's power to meet the same amount of discount rate or out-of-pocket cost at Magdalen College with the following considerations:
- Any Athletic Aid amounts will be determined by eligibility and availability of athletic scholarships on a team-by-team basis.
- Magdalen College students must provide a copy of their Magdalen College billing/financial aid for academic year 23-24.
- Magdalen College students must file the FAFSA, and all federal aid shall be accepted (Direct loan, Pell Grant, SEOG grant).
- Any loans at Magdalen College will be considered part of out-of-pocket cost. Saint Anselm is committed to helping students obtain the same level and type of loans where applicable.
Housing for students transferring into the spring 2024 semester at Saint Anselm College is available.
