The Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College sets us apart from so many other colleges and universities. Here we encourage students to fully engage in the exploration of the big questions and push beyond their comfortable boundaries; to not shy away from the challenges of today's society and politics, but rather to join that conversation and truly work toward the solutions for today and tomorrow.

Nearly every candidate campaigning in the 2024 first-in-the-nation presidential primary held an event at and/or in partnership with the NHIOP.
Saint Anselm College was chosen by ABC Television Network to host the only presidential primary debate in New Hampshire on February 7, 2020.
