What does it mean to be “invasive?” Combining biology and environmental philosophy, Dr. Kate York, Professor of Biology at Southern New Hampshire University, will provide an ethical framework we can use when considering invasive species. She will share specific examples of invasive species around the world, plus the language and ideas behind what it means to be “invasive.”

Dr. York's presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with members of Saint Anselm College's Biological Sciences Department.
