Located within the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, the Arthur P. & Patricia F. Young Library houses a distinguished collection devoted to the American presidency.
Named in honor of Arthur P. Young, Ph.D., and Patricia F. Young, the library features more than 3,000 biographies, memoirs, monographs, and historical works that explore the people, events, and ideas that have shaped the presidency from the nation's founding to the present day.

Established in 2017 through the Youngs' generous gift of approximately 2,700 volumes, the collection was assembled over more than 25 years and has continued to grow through their ongoing support. The library's custom-built shelving, crafted by Saint Anselm College cabinetmakers, was designed specifically to house this remarkable collection.
With publication dates ranging from 1885 to the present, the collection includes complete presidential biographical series, memoirs, scholarly studies, and rare titles examining presidential leadership, elections, public policy, White House history, and the broader political, social, and cultural context of the American presidency.
The Arthur P. & Patricia F. Young Library serves as a valuable resource for students, faculty, researchers, and visitors, supporting the Institute's mission to educate, engage, and empower citizens through the study of American politics, leadership, and democratic institutions.
Together with the New Hampshire Political Library, the Arthur P. & Patricia F. Young Library provides students, scholars, and visitors with unique resources exploring both the American presidency and New Hampshire's pivotal role in our nation's political history. Together, these complementary collections reflect the Institute's commitment to civic education, historical scholarship, and informed public dialogue.
