Leading up to the 2024 Presidential Election, the New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) will partner with WMUR-TV to produce the Candidate Café series.
Candidate Café is designed to get to know the candidate. The voters drive the conversation and typically ask about resume, background, family and what the candidate likes to do when they are not on the campaign trail. The candidate is seated at the head of the table, the voters on both sides.
Candidate Café tapings take place in a private room at the back of the Airport Diner, Manchester, NH. Food is provided for guests that is ordered from the regular menu.
Guests must be available for 90 minutes. The show taping is 60 minutes, and audience members are asked to check-in 30 minutes in advance.
In order to participate, audience members must be undecided registered New Hampshire voters.
