Emerging Nurse Leaders Series: Building Skills for Success

This is a two-part series. You can register for which sessions you would like to attend. This session introduces foundational leadership concepts for nurses who are new to management roles or aspiring to lead. Participants will explore the essentials of leadership, develop social-emotional skills for effective communication and conflict resolution, engage with healthcare ethics, and discover strategies to cultivate professional joy. Through discussion and practical exercises, attendees will begin building the mindset and interpersonal skills required for successful nurse leadership.

Learning Outcome: At the completion of this session, participants will be able to demonstrate foundational leadership skills by applying effective communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and ethical decision-making to foster professional joy and a positive team environment.
