Program Description:

Nurses are called upon to perform more and more functions, including triaging of a variety of different patient complaints. This session will provide you with the ability to: rapidly obtain a thorough symptom analysis and document those interactions effectively. Legal issues related to triaging will be discussed in detail. Participating in this session will extend your knowledge and confidence with triage in a variety of different practices and specialties.
 

Learning Outcome:

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to apply current evidence-based strategies in the diagnosis and management of Type 2 diabetes, incorporating both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions to improve glycemic control and reduce complications.
