On April 21st, 2022, 8 students were inducted into Pi Delta Phi, the National Honor Society for French.
To be considered for membership in Pi Delta Phi, students must have completed at least one course of upper-division French, have a 3.0 GPA in French, 3.0 GPA overall, AND rank in the top 35% of their class.
Pi Delta Phi was founded as a departmental honor society at the University of California at Berkeley in 1906 and was nationalized when the Beta Chapter was established at the University of Southern California in 1925. The purpose of the Society is to recognize outstanding scholarship in the French language and Francophone literatures, to increase the knowledge and appreciation of Americans for the cultural contributions of the French-speaking world, and to stimulate and encourage French and francophone cultural activities. Today there are more than 370 chapters of the Society.

- Julia McCaffrey '22, business and marketing major
- Danielle Abdennour '22, biology and history double major
- Andrew Gianattasio '23, international business major

- Eliza Scherzinger '23, mathematics major
