Every year, students have the opportunity to participate in a number of global seminars around the world. Ranging from different fields of study, students have the advantage to explore the many subjects offered on the Hilltop.

“Studying abroad is an exceptional way for students to strengthen their academic pursuits and embrace individual growth. At Saint Anselm, we offer unique short-term global opportunities, called Global Seminars, that blend academics with cultural immersion and adventure. These programs are designed to complement a specific academic course where students can apply their knowledge in the real world,” said Emily Hotchkiss, Director, Office of International Programs.

CostaRicaAbroad

Saint Anselm nursing students took a trip to Costa Rica in January of 2026 to provide care and compassion to communities facing barriers. The students utilized the skills they have acquired while earning their degrees on the Hilltop. The Costa Rica clinical is a vital opportunity for undergraduate students to get the experience and capabilities they will need to succeed.

“The students, as always, provided exceptional care and we are very proud of them,” said Professor Melissa Brodeur, MSN, RN

“Students will return with improved cross-cultural, intellectual, and personal skills. Global Seminars also include incredible cultural activities allowing students to explore and experience their host country. From cooking classes to vibrant city tours, our students are able to have unparalleled global experiences!” Hotchkiss continued.
