Seth Davis

Professor Seth Davis has joined Saint Anselm College as an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology with a B.S. degree from Linfield College, a M.S. degree from Western Illinois University, and his Ph.D. from Washington State University. Davis worked as a postdoc at the University of New England where he got into his current line of work.

Davis expresses particular interest in how neonatal pain influences later-life behavior. Further, Davis hopes to explore the role of the amygdala and the CRF system in modulating later-life dysfunction. Davis plans to continue this area of research here at Saint Anselm as well as learn other mechanisms such as behavioral and pharmacological that can help to reduce problems with early exposure to painful stimuli.
