The Professional Development Initiative (PDI) aims to financially support students of all majors who are currently working or interested in gaining business-related professional experience as an undergraduate student. The PDI encourages students to envision the range of career opportunities in the business world and partially alleviates the hidden costs of working (like the cost of commuting, wardrobe, and other expenses.) The PDI grants students paid fellowships of up to $1,200 per semester.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program

Initiatives like the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program give Saint Anselm students real-world experience while engaging and aiding the local community. Students who participate in the VITA Program completed IRS training from July through January to prepare for assisting with tax returns onsite. They receive professional tax certification during the fall semester and earn internship credit in the spring semester. This opportunity allows students to build trust, make a difference, and prepare for meaningful professorial careers.

For additional information on the VITA Program, contact Professor Ronald Cereola.
