From Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, 2025, Saint Anselm College hosted more than 600 alumni, from classes ending in 0’s and 5’s, and their guests for Reunion Weekend. This included two special classes, the class of 1975 who were inducted into the Order of Golden Anselmians and the class of 2020 who finally completed their senior traditions – nurse pinning and lowering their banner.

“This weekend, we had the chance to welcome so many alumni, family, and friends back to the Hilltop,” said Joseph Emmons ’04, assistant vice president of alumni relations and engagement. “Their support and love for the college are part of what makes the Anselmian experience so unique.”

This year’s Military Tribute was bittersweet, as it was the first one that was not led by Captain Mary Jo O’Dwyer Majors ’69, who passed away earlier in the year. During the ceremony, which honored alumni who have served in the military, participants took a moment to reflect on her legacy.

“Captain Majors truly lived a lifetime of service to her country, college, fellow nurses, and faith,” shared Brigid Horan ’18 in a reflection read by Robert Elliot’95 P’25 ’28. “She taught us all what losing yourself in service looks like in action. She never truly retired because she lived out her faith and the values that Saint Anselm and the Navy taught her. I am fortunate to have known her because she has made me a better nurse, Naval Officer, Anselmian, and friend.”

Over the course of the weekend, attendees reconnected, celebrated, and attended a variety of seminars including a presentation by John O’Leary ’00 about John F. Kennedy’s visit to Saint Anselm College and a chance to delve deeper into Benedictine traditions of beer and hospitality. Alumni learned more about changes to the college with campus tours and a presentation by Jean School Dean, Diane Uzarski. They also relaxed at the alumni barbecue, enjoyed dinner together, and listened to live music in Sullivan Arena.
