On March 30 and 31, 2021, Anselmians took time to honor the influential and often unsung heroes who inspired and influenced their time at Saint Anselm College during the 7th Annual Days of Giving campaign. This year’s campaign raised a record-shattering $1,277,431 from 3,455 donors.

During their time on the Hilltop, Anselmians find their home and meet so many who inspire them. Faculty, staff, trustees, alumni, and the monastic community care deeply for the well-being and success of students. In big and small moments, they shape the experiences of Anselmians and make a lasting difference in their lives.

Over the two days of the campaign, Anselmians on and off the Hilltop shared stories, thanked the people who influenced them, and made gifts in their honor to support the programs and initiatives that would allow future students to experience those special moments.

Generous donations to important initiatives such as scholarships, The Lucille Lavoie ’57 Nursing Endowed Fund for Innovations in Teaching Excellence, the Fr. Peter J. Guerin, O.S.B. Center for Teaching Excellence, and the Ernie Thorne ’34 Scholarship Fund for Racial Equality – just to name a few - will impact the lives of our students, faculty, and staff.

There was also a tremendous response to the #HawksSoarHigher athletics challenge led by Daron Montgomery, director of athletics, student-athletes, coaches and staff, where 2,006 donors supported the many varsity sports programs, athletics scholarships, and the new Chris Rodgers ’93 Memorial Men’s Basketball Endowment.

“Thank you to everyone who has made a gift to this year’s Days of Giving, shares President Joseph A. Favazza, Ph.D. “This past year, as we’ve banded together through these challenging times, each member of our Hilltop community has proven themselves to be an Anselmian Influencer.”
