To the Saint Anselm community,

As we write this message, the last of our students have just recently departed for winter break. The activity of the semester is silenced, but the heartbeat of the Hilltop continues to echo with each hourly chime of the Alumni Hall bells.

The campus is bathed in peaceful stillness, reminding us of the solemn holiness of the Advent season. During this special time, we thank God for his grace as we reflect on the blessings of the past year.

We pray that this Christmas be for our Anselmian community a time of wonder and renewed encounter with the Lord as we gaze on the depth of love, the truth of faith, and the reality of hope, at the center of our attention in the Nativity, Christ Jesus, the newborn Infant King.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

Warmly,
Joseph A. Favazza, Ph.D.
