International Honor Society of Nursing Inducts 39 New Members

This fall, 39 Saint Anselm College senior nursing students were inducted into the Epsilon Tau-at-Large Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Founded in 1922, Sigma Theta Tau is the second-largest nursing organization in the world with over 135,000 active members in more than 100 countries globally. The society is committed to advancing world health and celebrating nursing excellence through scholarships, leadership, and service. 

To join Sigma Theta Tau, undergraduate students must complete half of the nursing curriculum, achieve academic excellence of a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 grade point average system, rank in the upper 35 percent of their graduating class, and meet the expectation of academic integrity. Membership supports students’ professional development and grants them valuable connections and research opportunities.
