To be eligible for induction, a business student must rank in the top 20 percent of the junior or senior class, and must be invited by their chapter's faculty officers. Today, Sigma Beta Delta has 277 chapters across the United States.

The ceremony took place in the President’s Dining Room and was followed by a dinner with last year’s inductees, as well as Dean of the College Mark Cronin and economics and business faculty.
