Humanities
Offered as a minor and certificate
Studying the humanities, students explore humans across time and through culture, literature, philosophy, theology, history, religion, language, and art. By earning a Humanities minor or certificate, you’ll explore in-depth defined themes contextualized within larger questions of human values to supplement your chosen major.
With advanced and interdisciplinary team-taught courses, you’ll broaden your thinking and be challenged to answer big questions about the human experience. This area of study will prepare you for graduate studies and careers in a range of fields from education and business to government and media.
At their essence, the humanities cultivate human wisdom by engaging us in the ageless conversation about the meaning of our lives.
