Choosing Mission
Athletics at Saint Anselm are not separate from our educational mission – they are a vital avenue through which we develop graduates prepared to lead lives of meaning, purpose, and contribution. Applying to and accepting an invitation from the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) ensures the balance of academics first, character-driven competition and strong faculty/coach/student relationships.
This transition aligns Saint Anselm Athletics with the College’s student-centric mission that encourages the lifelong pursuit of the truth and fosters intellectual, moral and spiritual growth to sustain and enrich its graduates' personal lives, work, and engagement within local, national, and global communities.

It does so in a learning community that encourages the lifelong pursuit of the truth and fosters intellectual, moral and spiritual growth to sustain and enrich its graduates' personal lives, work, and engagement within local, national, and global communities.
