On Thursday, Oct. 14, members of the Anselmian community gathered to celebrate the launch of the public phase of a $2 million campaign to build a permanent home for the Gregory J. Grappone ’04 Humanities Institute.

Described as a “thoughtful leader” with “a strong commitment to racial justice and positive social change,” Anastasia “Ana” Morrison has been an engaged member of the Saint Anselm College community since she began her college career. 

Saint Anselm students were not going to let a global pandemic prevent them from helping provide meals and clothes to community members who need it most.

Despite the restrictions of a pandemic world, Campus Ministry held a virtual Service and Solidarity program this past winter break as part of its annual selection of Winter Break Alternative (WBA). Twenty-six students participated in four different experiences.

On Sunday, May 16, 330 members of Saint Anselm College’s Class of 2020 returned to the Hilltop for a long-awaited celebration of their graduation. the festivities fulfilled a promise made by the college’s president, Dr. Joseph A. Favazza, that commencement would be celebrated in person when the coronavirus has subsided to the point where a large gathering would be possible.

In recognition of Saint Anselm College’s commitment to first generation college students, the Center for First-generation Student Success has named the College as a member of its 2022-23 First-gen Forward cohort.

While the college has transitioned to remote instruction, a service-learning program has continued virtually.
