Saint Anselm’s Signature Study Abroad Experience
Saint Anselm College and the Office of International Programs are proud to offer our flagship, customized semester study abroad program in Tuscania, Italy. Tuscania is centrally located in the countryside of the Lazio Region of Italy where students will study within the medieval city walls. Only an hour from Rome, and 20 minutes from the ocean as well as Europe's deepest volcanic lake, students can explore ancient Etruscan ruins and visit some of Italy’s most spectacular churches, some so beautiful they have been backdrops for movie sets.
Anselmians will spend a full spring semester in Tuscania experiencing real cultural immersion and community living. Students will take up to 16 credits of Saint Anselm courses, taught by Saint A's faculty and faculty from our host university, Instituto Lorenzo de' Medici.
The program cost is the same as a semester on the college’s Manchester campus and includes tuition, housing, excursions, medical travel insurance, and emergency support.
As one of the most affordable study abroad opportunities for Saint Anselm students, the semester affords an opportunity to learn about Benedictine history, allowing for greater understanding of who we are as Anselmians.
This program is open to rising sophomores and juniors with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
