Sports Analytics majors receive interdisciplinary training in mathematics, computer science, marketing, and economics. Sports and Entertainment Marketing
Study the application of the marketing process in the sports industry, including teams, properties, brand partnerships and individual athletes. You’ll examine all elements of the marketing mix from product price to promotion. As a Sports Analytics major, you’ll learn about the research and organization required to successfully implement marketing strategies in the sports world.
Internships for Sports Analytics Majors
As a Sports Analytics major, you’ll be required to complete an internship, preferably in the sports industry. An internship will provide you with hands-on industry experience to strengthen your skillset in postgraduate pursuits. Sports Analytics and Athletics
At Saint Anselm, roughly 30% of undergraduate students are varsity athletes and 25% participate in an intramural sport. Athletics play a vital role in the College’s culture, and many students have blended their love of the game with academic research. As a Sports Analytics major, you’ll take a deeper dive into the ever-evolving sports industry and examine the data behind the final scores.
