The Father Peter J. Guerin, O.S.B. Center for Teaching Excellence was founded to promote excellence and innovation in teaching and learning at Saint Anselm College.

Its mission is to provide programs and opportunities for faculty seeking to strengthen and diversify their teaching skills; develop new and creative approaches to pedagogy; engage in interdisciplinary conversations; and to support faculty mentoring and development. The CTE strives to be a valuable resource in helping faculty to enhance student learning and foster academic achievement.
