The Office of Campus Ministry and the Council on Being Catholic and Benedictine welcomes Dr. Meghan Clark for a lecture.

Elsa Voelcker will discuss her photography retrospective, The Intimacy of Seeing, including what first drew her to the medium of photography, and how it has changed since she began. Please join us for this special opportunity to engage in conversation with the artist, and to gain insights into her techniques, motivations, and accomplishments. Light refreshments will be served.

The event will consist of a panel discussion and student networking opportunities.

Professor Joshua Tepley and the students in PH 220 Women in Philosophy will host a panel discussion of alumnae Philosophy majors to discuss the role and contribution of women in Philosophy. Learn how these women used their Philosophy major as a catalyst to personal growth and professional success.

Please join us to recognize 50 years of Women’s Education at Saint Anselm College as we welcome Jasmine Grace Marino from the Jasmine Grace Outreach program on Monday, April 8th, from 12:30-1:15 p.m. in room 105 of Gadbois Hall.  She will give a brief talk about the incidence of human trafficking in New Hampshire. The Jasmine Grace Outreach Program is dedicated to empowering women to move beyond exploitation.

We are also collecting feminine hygiene products to donate to this organization, and we welcome your donations. Donations can consist of: women's socks, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, bars of soap, 12 oz of shampoo or conditioner, baby wipes, hair brushes, winter gear, chapstick, bags of trial mix, $25 gift cards (to: Walmart, Target, Market Basket, Shaws, Walgreens, Amazon, CVS, or gas cards), or notes of encouragement.

Feel free to bring your donation to the meeting on Monday April 8th or drop it into the laundry basket in Gadbois lobby.

As part of the 50th Anniversary of women at Saint Anselm College, the Honors Program is pleased to welcome Dr. Yves Salomon-Fernandez, president of Urban College of Boston, for a lecture titled "Elevating Women in Academia: Imagine if We Lived Our Stated Values".

In honor of 50 Years of women's education at the College, alumna and muralist Jyl Dittbenner ’97 has curated a mural that will be exhibited in the Jean Student Center and will serve as a lasting tribute to the progress we have made and the countless individuals who have helped shape our institution into what it is today. Join us for this special event and enjoy light refreshments afterwards!
