The college community, friends, and family are invited to attend the Senior Honors Convocation on Friday, May 17, 2024, that recognizes the academic achievement of individual members of the undergraduate graduating class of 2024.

Immediately following the Honors Convocation, Abbot Mark and the Benedictine monks will concelebrate the Baccalaureate Mass to thank God for his many blessings during your student’s time at Saint Anselm College.

Join the Physics Department for watching the Solar Eclipse on April 8th on Alumni Quad. As long as it’s not completely overcast, there will be a observing event on the Alumni Quad for the eclipse starting at 2:15pm, through maximum eclipse at 3:29pm, and until about 4:30pm or whenever folks are finished observing. There will be telescopes set up for safe solar viewing of the disk of the Sun as the Moon crosses in front of it and about 400 eclipse glasses on hand to borrow while supplies last. Bring your own solar sunglasses, able to get from local libraries or buying a pair. See you on the quad!

Please, remember, DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN WITHOUT THE PROPER PROTECTION. IT IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR EYES!

One of the most treasured Christmas customs at Saint Anselm Abbey is the Blessing of the Crèche, the Nativity scene that recreates in miniature the setting of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. The monks prepare the manger as part of the decoration of the Abbey Church, then during Vigils on Christmas Eve, the Abbot intones the prayer and blesses the crèche with holy water.
