Leading People: The Art of Truly Being Present is Module 2 of 4 towards the Advanced Nurse Leadership Certificate

This is a 4 week course that runs from March 27 - April 23, with a synchronous online day on March 27 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Our innovative online certificate program is designed to explore the various components to develop a nurse leader, whose goal is to enhance and empower oneself in advancing the future of the nursing profession.

This certificate program serves as an excellent preparatory course for the Certified Nurse Leader exam and certification.
 

Target Audience:

  • Any nurse who practices in a leadership role, including but not limited to, nurse educators, clinical nurse managers, charge nurses, supervisors and directors. Staff nurses with 5 years’ experience interested in seeking a leadership role should consider this offering.
     
  • Each module will earn 15 Nursing Contact Hours. Each module can be taken individually. In order to receive the certificate (60 contact hours), all 4 modules must be completed.
     
  • Each module begins with one virtual live webinar from 08:30am- 4:00pm. The remainder of the program is completed online asynchronously.

Target Audience:

  • Any nurse practicing in an education role who is interested in developing or working in a simulation program. This would be applicable to nurse educators in academia or healthcare facilities, preceptors, mentors, or staff nurses who are interested in learning more about this teaching pedagogy.
     
  • Each module will earn 15 Nursing Contact Hours. Each module can be taken individually. In order to receive the certificate (60 contact hours), all 4 modules must be completed.

Faculty and staff who published works of scholarship and research during the 2024 calendar year will be recognized for their contributions to their fields.
