Cultivating Nursing Professionalism through Education and Community is a dynamic, multiday event designed for nurse educators working in both academic and clinical environments. This conference brings together thought leaders and practitioners to explore innovative strategies and tools that elevate nursing education, foster professional growth, and build a sense of community among nurse educators.

Mastering Aesthetic Injections A 3-Day Hands-On Intensive: Foundations to Advanced Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers

This immersive 3-day intensive workshop is designed for nurses looking to build and advance their skills in aesthetic medicine. Combining Foundational Neurotoxins, Advanced Neurotoxins, and Dermal Fillers, this program provides a progressive learning experience, moving from core principles to expert-level techniques. Participants will gain a deep understanding of facial aesthetics, refine their injection skills, and develop confidence in performing neurotoxin and dermal filler treatments.
With 21 contact hours, including 16 hours of hands-on practice with live models under expert guidance, this workshop offers a comprehensive pathway for nurses committed to aesthetic excellence.
Program Breakdown:
Day 1:
- Foundational Neurotoxins – 2-hour didactic session covering the science, safety, and fundamental techniques of neurotoxins.
- Hands-On Practice – 4 hours of supervised injections on live models.
Day 2:
- Continued Hands-On Practice – 4 additional hours of neurotoxin injections, refining precision and technique.
- Advanced Neurotoxins & Dermal Fillers – 3-hour didactic session covering advanced applications, product selection, facial anatomy, and complication management.
Day 3:
- Full-Day Hands-On Practice – 8 hours of intensive training, focusing on advanced neurotoxin techniques and dermal filler injections for natural, balanced results.
Target Audience:
- Licensed nurses (RNs, NPs, LPNs) looking to enter or advance in aesthetic medicine.
- Aesthetic nurses wanting to strengthen their knowledge and expand their clinical expertise.
- Healthcare professionals seeking hands-on training in neurotoxins and dermal fillers under expert supervision.

Learning Outcome:

Join us for a conversation about the future of AI with Dr. John Basl on March 26, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. As organizations and individuals work to navigate the social and ethical complexities of AI, missteps and failures are still all too common.
In this discussion, we’ll explore the key challenges of unlocking AI’s potential while minimizing ethical risks, highlighting prominent examples and current approaches to AI ethics. We’ll also explore what it takes to build an ethics ecosystem to manage these challenges and what we can do to help build such an ecosystem.
About the speaker: Dr. John Basl is a philosophy professor at Northeastern University. He researched, teaches, and otherwise works in moral philosophy and applied of practical ethics, especially in the area of AI and data ethics. He is also the Associate Director of Northeastern's AI and Data Ethics Initiatives.

As we navigate a world where the old normal is gone and the new normal has yet to emerge, this seminar offers an opportunity to explore how courageous leadership can guide us through these challenging times.
In this two-hour seminar, Dr. Beerel will explore the complexities of transition, examining what it truly means to lead with courage and how we can cultivate this vital trait in ourselves and others.

About the speaker:
Dr. Annabel Beerel, an Executive Leadership and Ethics consultant, hosts a variety of seminars on Leadership, Change Management, Ethics and Mindfulness. She is the former Distinguished Chair of Ethics at SNHU and interim Dean of Religious Life at Wellesley College. She has written several books on leadership and ethics and speaks at a variety of conferences.
