Saint Anselm College is happy to welcome six new full-time and 17 part-time faculty members in eight departments for the 2026-27 academic year, bringing diverse expertise to the College’s classrooms.
 


New Full-Time Faculty

Brian Bednarski

Assistant Professor, Department of Fine Arts

The Fine Arts department welcomes Brian Bednarski as an assistant professor of fine arts after earning his B.A. from Stockton University and M.F.A. from Vermont College of Fine Arts. “His industry experience is broad and deep, including work with SiriusXM, New England Sports Network, Fidelity Investments, and Major League Baseball Advanced Media. Brian is hard at work...ensuring our facilities...are able to meet the needs of the rapidly growing...program,” says department chair Andrew Haringer. Bednarski will be teaching Graphic Design I, Graphic Design II, and Art and Design for Web.

The Mathematics department welcomes Zachary Costanzo as an assistant professor. “We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Zachary Costanzo to the Mathematics Department. Zach brings a strong background in mathematics…with extensive teaching experience… that spans mathematics and computing…His arrival strengthens a department that continues to grow…” says Department Chair Stephen Shea. Costanzo will teach Calculus I, Calculus III, and Introductory Statistics. He earned his B.A. from Providence College and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Binghamton University.

The Nursing department welcomes Magen Jenkins for the 2026-27 academic year. “The Department of Nursing is excited to welcome Magen Jenkins as a full-time faculty member,” said Undergraduate Nursing Chair Carrie MacLeod. “Her previous experience as a part-time clinical instructor, familiarity with the program, and commitment to our students make her a valuable addition to the department.” Jenkins joins the clinical faculty team at the Jean School of Nursing and Health Sciences to teach Health Assessment Labs. She earned her B.S.N. and M.S.N. from Pensacola Christian College.

The Psychology department welcomes Mikaela Newman for the 2026-27 academic year. “We are thrilled to have Dr. Mikaela Newman join the Department of Psychology. She brings attention to teaching and care for students from her teacher-focused training at [University of New Hampshire],” said Department Chair Elizabeth Rickenbach. Newman brings a strong focus on teaching and student care from her previous training. As an assistant professor of psychology, Newman will teach General Psychology I, Child Growth and Development, and Behavioral Statistics. She earned her B.A. from Assumption College and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of New Hampshire.

Matthew Lee joins the Department of Fine Arts as a lecturer. Lee is a “seasoned performer and instructor,” stated by Andrew Haringer. He earned his B.M. and M.M. from the University of Canterbury and his Ph.D. and D.M.A. from Boston University. He will teach Studies in Music Performance: Flute.

Stephanie Noble joins the Department of Fine Arts as a lecturer. She earned her B.F.A. from Marymount Manhattan College. Noble“has worked closely with leaders in dance such as Shannon Lewis, Al Blackstone, and Marinda Davis,” says Andrew Haringer. She will teach

Jazz and Contemporary dance and is the Rehearsal and Production Director of NSquared Dance.
