“The first program in women’s studies in the United States was approved at San Diego State University in 1970. Saint Anselm College also is celebrating the 50th anniversary of women at the college this year. It is nice to know that our college joined this major change of increasing the access of women to education.”

On Thursday, October 13, 2022, Saint Anselm students gathered in the LLC Classroom to work towards finding common ground on whether or not the drinking age in the United States should be lowered.

The New Hampshire Institute of Politics hosted a climate change campus debate on September 12, 2023, in tandem with the National Governors Association, Braver Angels and the Saint Anselm Debate Team.

On Wednesday, September 6, Former VP Mike Pence visited the New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) to deliver major policy address titled “Populism v. Conservatism: A Republican Time for Choosing.”

On Friday, October 13th, 2023, Governor Ron DeSantis made a campaign stop at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) for Politics & Eggs.

On the nineteenth day of November 2023, our confrere, Father Cecil John Donahue, O.S.B., in the 75^th anniversary year of his monastic profession, died at Mount Carmel Nursing Center, Manchester, NH.

A year ago, when I first stepped into Alumni Hall as the 11th president of Saint Anselm College, I was eager to embrace the opportunities and challenges that awaited my own freshman year on the Hilltop.
