David Wilcox

April 25, 2025
8:30 pm EDT - 11:00 pm EDT

Friday, April 25th at 7:30pm

From Carnegie Hall to Nashville’s Bluebird Café, David Wilcox has
brought his warm, baritone vocals and image-filled acoustic poetry to audiences for decades. He believes music is sacred ground and his inveterate storytelling paired with his distinctive guitar technique reflect that. His expressive finger-picking-style playing and open tuning, often with custom capos, seamlessly accompany his layered lyrics that are insightful and quietly cut deep. A prolific and revered folk musician, he has earned praise over the years in The New York Times, The Boston Globe and Rolling Stone, among others.
