The New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) at Saint Anselm College is pleased to announce the Kevin B. Harrington Student Ambassador Co-Chairs for 2024-2025.
Student Ambassador Student Co-Chairs: Ellie Duffin ’25 and Kellan Barbee ’26
Ellie Duffin is a senior politics major with a spanish minor from Braintree, Mass. A fun fact about Ellie is that she studied abroad in Granada, Spain last summer. Her favorite part about NIHOP is the opportunity to learn new perspectives through meeting and networking with political officials and fellow Saint Anselm students.
Kellan Barbee is a junior politics major with a english minor from Manchester, N.H. His favorite part of being an ambassador is interacting with and learning from national and local politicians, journalists, and community members.
Events Committee Co-Chairs: Conor Beswick ’26 and Rosabella Daraoui ’25
Conor Beswick is a junior politics and finance double major from Andover, Mass. His favorite part of the Institute is being able to connect with individuals who have a passion for public service. Whether that be fellow students, elected officials, candidates, journalists, and more.
Rosabella Daraoui is a senior politics major with a double minor in french and international relations from Rochester, N.H. Her favorite part of the program is being able to engage with the community and attending a variety of events with people from different backgrounds and political perspectives.
Civic Engagement Committee: Georgia Milne ’26, Jaime Woodaman ’26, and Mario Ventresca ’25
Georgia Milne is a junior politics major with a minor in campaign management from Lynnfield, Mass. Her favorite part of the ambassador program is the wide variety of events that are available to her through this program. These events have brought so many different people with many different perspectives to one place and have given her a different outlook on certain topics that she would not have thought about prior.
Jaime Woodaman is a junior business administration major with a politics minor from Meredith, N.H. Her favorite part of being an ambassador is being involved in the community and gaining new experiences with other ambassadors. Learning something new every day is one of the huge rewards that comes from working in the NHIOP.
Mario Ventresca is a senior politics major from Woburn, Mass. His favorite part about being an ambassador is meeting other students who share his interest in electoral politics and attending events featuring very interesting people.
Communications Committee: Harry Murphy ’26 and Maya Pontes ’26
Harry Murphy is a junior marketing major with a communication minor from Sudbury, Mass. His favorite part of NHIOP is the opportunity to cover live events on social media and interact with prominent guests.
Maya Pontes is a junior marketing and english double major from Fall River, Mass. Her favorite part about the ambassador program is the ability to develop professional skills all while gathering a deeper understanding of local and national politics.
Outreach and Development Committee: Beau Manzi ’27 and Lauren Blois ’26
Beau Manzi is a sophomore politics and environmental studies double major from North Andover, Mass. His favorite part of the NHIOP ambassador program is having the ability to develop his professional skills while cultivating professional and personal relationships with other ambassadors.
Lauren Blois is a junior politics major with a minor in communications from Wakefield, Mass. Her favorite part about being an ambassador is being able to foster connections with students, politicians, and local organizations. She feels that the ambassador program equips students with life-long skills that can serve them well in any capacity.
