Located on the lower level of the Jean Student Center, The Harbor, supported by an Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Grant, is a hub for prevention, education and awareness of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence and stalking. It is also a drop in center for victims or survivors of violence to offer options, support and assistance. 

Please note that the Director of the The Harbor, Nicole Kipphut, is designated as a Confidential Resource Advisor, a role in which trauma informed support and assistance is provided to a victim-survivor, per NH RSA 188-H.

AVERT (Assault Violence Education Resource Team) 

Saint Anselm College’s Assault Violence Education Resource Team (AVERT) is a cross constituency group that supports semester-long educational programs, campaigns and events. Examples of offerings include: 

  • Bringing in the Bystander 
  • One Love Workshops 
  • Peer Educator Training/Facilitation 
  • Awareness Month Events 

Programs

Stalking and Cyberstalking Symposium

Saint Anselm College presents the Stalking and Cyberstalking Symposium! A full-day interactive conference for regional college and university Title IX Coordinators, Investigators, hearing boards, campus safety, law enforcement, victim service providers, college faculty and staff, and community partners.  The symposium will increase your knowledge and techniques when working with survivors of stalking or cyberstalking and will feature keynote speaker Carrie Goldberg, a victim's rights attorney, author and survivor, as well as and Emma Dolan, YWCA advocate & stalking survivor. Breakout session topics including sextortion, electronic evidence, stalking on college campuses and more! Subject matter experts include Dana FleitmanTraining and Awareness Specialist, from Stalking Prevention, Awareness, and Resource Center (SPARC), Deputy Matt Fleming from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, among many others!

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Jean Student Center, and the welcome remarks will begin at 9:00am.

Cost: $30 to cover the cost of food
