While the candidates were debating each other in Sullivan Arena, on the other side of campus, journalists from around the world were stationed in the Carr Center, which served as the home of the media filing center and spin room.

Beginning next week, CNN will air live from Saint Anselm College’s campus, including Inside Politics with John King and eight town hall forums featuring presidential primary candidates.

As the NH Primary approached, roommates Julianne Plourde ’20 and Sarah Murphy ’20 decided to meet as many of the candidates – Republican and Democrat – as they possibly could.

With Saint Anselm in the national (and international) spotlight leading up to the NH Primary on Tues., Feb. 11, students, faculty, and staff were interviewed by a variety of media from around the country. 

On February 7, 2020, the nation's eyes were on Saint Anselm College as it hosted the democratic debate featuring candidates for president. 

While the college has transitioned to remote instruction, a service-learning program has continued virtually.
