Investment Theories and Practices 

In this course, you’ll learn numerous theories and best practices for investment management. You’ll discuss fundamental investment analysis, technical investment analysis, and efficient market investment theories while focusing on the ethics of money management.

Annual New York City Finance Trip

Each year, Saint Anselm students travel to America’s finance capital, New York City. Led by experienced faculty, students are welcomed by alumni and business leaders who give them invaluable insight into the finance world. The trip gives Anselmians the opportunity to explore many career paths, network with alumni, and learn first-hand about roles in finance.

The Bloomberg Finance Lab

Located in Gadbois Hall, the Bloomberg Finance Lab at Saint Anselm gives students a competitive advantage in the classroom and on the job. The state-of-the-art computer terminals expose students to a simulated stockbroker’s trading floor. Many students use this resource to earn Bloomberg certifications that enhance their resumés and career prospects.

ALUMNI PROFILE: CHRIS TINSLEY ‘13

Chris Tinsley ’13 is growing a billion-dollar affiliate marketing platform—and helping Saint Anselm students along the way. Tinsley studied finance at Saint Anselm and in 2020 cofounded the affiliate marketing platform, ShopMy. The company connects major retail brands in the beauty and fashion industries with social media influencers who are playing an increasingly consequential role in consumer purchasing decisions, particularly among younger generations.
