The following is a compilation of graduate programs in the biological sciences that are located in New England. It is not necessarily a comprehensive list, and it is quite possible that some good programs have been overlooked during the creation of this site.

Biology Spotlight on Alumni
Many of our science, math, and engineering graduates continue their education. But many work first, and some work at the same time (Anselmians live for a challenge).

Research
The Biological Sciences Department at Saint Anselm College offers a number of research opportunities for undergraduates designed specifically to provide students with a hands-on experience conducting research in the biological sciences. These opportunities are available to any biology student meeting the pre-requisite requirements and are strongly encouraged for students interested in post-graduate professional programs or graduate school.

Outcomes
Students work with their faculty and representatives from Career Services to find career opportunities. Our students may elect to receive either a B.A. degree or a B.S. degree, both of which to incorporate the breadth of a liberal arts education. The department has been certified by the American Chemical Society since 1969, which highlights the additional commitment to laboratory skills, modern instrumentation, and hands on experiences necessary for success in chemistry. American Chemical Society certified degrees are awarded a B.S.

Why Study Chemistry?
Chemistry is often described as the central science. A background of math and physics can be used to describe molecules and the biological systems these molecules make up. Chemistry relates to everything we do, everything we eat, everything we observe.

Why Study Forensic Science?
The major was designed for the flexibility of students to specialize in an area of their choosing. Students may also minor in forensics, if they are more interested in the criminal justice aspects of the subject but would like to know more about the scientific analyses carried out. Many of our forensics majors also double major or minor in criminal justice.
