Nursing courses begin the spring semester of a student’s first year

Students majoring in public health will critically examine disease prevention and systemic health challenges through the lens of civic responsibility. The interdisciplinary program provides an experience rich in science, public policy, civics, and ethics.
Major requirements include courses in biology, psychology, sociology, and statistics
Public Health Majors will have a practical internship experience senior year to launch them into the career of their choice
