So much of the past year has been buffeted by Covid-19, and certainly that is true here on the Hilltop.

The Center for Ethics in Society recently sponsored an in-depth reflection of Frederick Douglass’ extensive writings. A small group of students met four times in spring 2023 to study and contemplate ethical conversations about race and society.

During my time teaching as a full-time professor in the fine arts department at Saint Anselm College, I have been grateful to receive three Fulbright awards to spend time teaching and doing research in various European countries.

The first time my wife Paddy and I visited the Saint Anselm College campus was in the fall of 2009 when our oldest daughter Alina was in her college search process.
