How to Purchase Event Tickets

View the Family Weekend Schedule of Events which provides detailed information about the weekend and also indicates which items require ticket purchases. The online Registration and Order Form ticket purchasing system is now closed.

  • If you placed an order already, your pre-ordered tickets and t-shirts will be under your students’ name and can be picked up at the Welcome/Check-In Table during the weekend.
  • If you did not pre-order tickets, you can still purchase tickets and t-shirts during the weekend at the Welcome/Check-In Table in the Dana Lobby on Friday and Saturday.
  • You may also purchase tickets for the Brunch and pick up any remaining t-shirts on Sunday morning in the Davison Hall Lobby.

    6 - 8 p.m. - Welcome/Check-In Table (Dana Center)

    Stop here to check in and pick up pre-ordered tickets, t-shirts, and Fun Run information. Also, view the weekend schedule that includes athletic events, a variety of tours and other events, and take family photos.

    6 - 7:30 p.m. - Parents Program Information Table (Dana Center)
    The Parents Program invites you to stop by, say hello and find out how you can "Get Involved!"

    *8 p.m. - Abbey Players Present "Snapshot" (Dana Center Theater)
    Join us for a musical look at a year in the life of a Saint Anselm Hawk. This show is proudly presented, written, directed, choreographed and produced by students, and for students and their families! In this production, several different friend groups are depicted experiencing "snapshots" of their time on campus. These "snapshots" showcase events from a Hawk's first steps on campus during orientation, to the gingerbread competition, and all the way to graduation. The goal is to highlight all the best parts about being a Hawk here in our Anselmian community. The show features popular songs such as "Shut Up and Dance", "You'll Be Back", and "It's Raining, Men".

    *9 a.m. - Family Fun Run Registration (Dana Center)  

    *10 a.m. - Family Fun Run/Walk (Begins in Front of the Dana Center)
    This fun run/walk through campus will award prizes to the top male and female runners in the following categories: Saint Anselm College student, parent, sibling (under 12), sibling (over 12), and faculty/staff. Register via order form during Friday registration or Saturday morning in the Dana Center lobby. All participants must sign in between 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to receive their runner's bib number. Registration fee is $10 and includes a Fun Run T-shirt.

    10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Sacred and the Ordinary: Examining Works on Paper from the MacDonald Collection (Chapel Art Center)
    The Alva de Mars Megan Chapel Art Center welcomes Family Weekend visitors to tour the exhibition The Silent Heart: Modern Illuminations by Anne Connell, on view through December 9. 

    10:15 a.m. - 11 a.m. - Hint of Lime (Campus Green)
    Student contemporary singers in the form of an a cappella group will perform for families and friends. This is a free event taking place on the Campus Green.

    11 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Family Reception (Campus Green)
    Hosted by Dr. Steven R. DiSalvo, President of Saint Anselm College

    Family and friends attending Family Weekend are invited to enjoy light refreshments and meet members of the monastic community, faculty, administrators, as well as student representatives from various clubs and athletic teams.

    11 a.m. - Men's Soccer vs. Assumption (Melucci Field) 
    Watch and cheer on our Hawk's men's soccer team as they take on Assumption.

    12:00 - 4:0o p.m. - Family Activities for your Amusement and Entertainment (Campus Green)
    A variety of novelties will be available for families to choose from and will be located on the Campus Green and down at Grappone Stadiuim.  

    1:00 p.m. Field Hockey vs. Long Island University-Post (Grappone Stadium)
    Come support our women's field hockey team as they take on LIU-Post on the turf field.

    1 - 3 p.m. Open Skate (Sullivan Arena)
    Bring your skates and hit the ice with friends and family in Sullivan Arena. Please note that rentals are not available.

    1:30 - 4 p.m. - Archaeology Dig (Meet in Dana Center at Registration Table)
    Embark on an archaeological dig on campus in the Ozone! Equipment will be provided, but wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. For more information, contact classicssociety@anselm.edu.

     *8:30 p.m. - Joseph Réohm, "Comedic Magician/Illusionist (Dana Center Theatre)
    An internationally-award winning comedic magician and illusionist, Joseph Réohm has been seen on America's Got Talent, SyFy channel's Wizard Wars, and most recently Penn and Teller: Fool Us.  Joining us for Family Weekend 2017, Joseph invites his audiences to escape with him, and they may never look at the world the same way again.

    *9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Sunday Brunch (Davison Hall)
    Brunch does require the purchase of a ticket including current students. Brunch tickets may be purchased in advance or in the Davison Hall lobby when you arrive Sunday morning. Students may purchase one brunch ticket with their meal plan beginning October 11 in Davison Office. Student must bring the "student Brunch ticket" along with their student ID to the brunch.

    Bring home a pumpkin or squash (decorative and edible). Available outside the Dana Center, while supplies last!

    The Campus Bookstore is open during Family Weekend (pick-up a coupon at registration or at the bookstore):

    Geisel Library's Annual Book Sale - Check it out!! The Library's annual book sale runs throughout Family Weekend and offers a wide selection of books. Stop by and browse through this eclectic assortment of books, there is something for everyone.
