This program is held each fall and includes live entertainment, tours, and various activities on campus. Family Weekend is an enjoyable way for all family members and friends to join your Saint Anselm student on campus. Events include live performances in the Dana Center, a Family Fun Run/Walk, student club shows and performances, a reception with members of the college community, athletic events, family brunch, and Mass at the Abbey Church.
We are happy to announce that Family Weekend 2022 will take place September 23 through September 25. Our committee will be meeting soon to begin the planning for events and activities that will take place over the weekend. We hope to have more information on this website by early August which will include how to make purchases for any ticketed events, so please be sure to check back early August for more information.

Family Weekend 2022 Schedule of Events
*These items require a ticket for guests and current students. We recommend pre-purchase, as events and items sell out.
Online purchasing has now ended so that we have time to process and fulfill orders. However, you may still purchase tickets at the check-in table during the weekend. Please note, we are very low or completely sold out of some t-shirt sizes. Brunch tickets may also be purchased in Davison hall on Sunday morning, September 25.
Please note: Tickets will not be mailed to you, but rather held at the Check-in/Registration table beginning at 9:00 am Saturday morning in the Dana Center Lobby.
In addition, you must also purchase tickets for your student. The only exception is that the student may purchase a Brunch Ticket with their meal plan directly from Dining Services beginning mid-September."

Join the Abbey Players for a night full of some of Disney’s greatest hits! Both produced and performed by Saint Anselm students, this night will showcase the amazing talent students offer through various solos, duets, and group numbers. It is a night of beautiful music and fun that you will not want to miss.
Saturday, September 24
9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Dana Center Lobby)
Stop here to check in and pick up any pre-ordered tickets, t-shirts, and Fun Run information. Also, pick up a copy of the weekend schedule that includes sport events, Dana Theatre shows, student club performances, and many other weekend events.

This fun run/walk through campus will award prizes to the top male and female runners in the following categories: Age 13 and over both male and female; Age 12 and below both male and female. All participants must sign in between 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to receive their runner's bib number. Registration fee is $12 and includes a Fun Run T-shirt.
Hint of Lime and Jazz Band Student Performances
10:30 – 11 a.m. (Melucci Auditorium, Roger & Francine Jean Student Center Complex)
Student contemporary singers in the form of an a cappella group will perform for families and friends followed by a performance by our student Jazz Band.
Family Weekend Reception
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Event Space, Roger & Francine Jean Student Center Complex)
The reception will be hosted by our College President, Dr. Joseph Favazza. Family and friends are invited to enjoy light refreshments and meet members of the monastic community, faculty, administrators, as well as student representatives from various clubs and organizations.
Spotlight on Summer Student Research

Saint Anselm College’s summer is alive with researchers! Students, under the direction of faculty mentors, worked on significant research projects over the summer. The Saint Anselm College Honors Program along with the College’s NH-INBRE Program provide Summer Research Fellowships to support these efforts. Together, these groups form a summer research community. We will have some of these student researchers; both from Honors and INBRE programs share poster presentations with families in attendance.
Rescue Team Blood Pressure Screening

The Campus Rescue Team will be holding a free blood pressure screening for families. Feel free to stop by and say hello while checking your blood pressure.

Multicultural Day Celebration

Multicultural Day is an annual event in September to celebrate the beauty of diversity within our campus community, featuring food, performances and art.
Director’s Tour of the Chapel Art Center
1 - 2 p.m. (Chapel Art Center)
Fr. Iain MacLellan, O.S.B., Director of the Chapel Center, will lead a guided tour of the Agnus Dei Ceiling Murals which decorate the ceiling of the Chapel Art Center. Completed in 1930, the mural decoration represents one of the most important artistic treasures at Saint Anselm College. Rich with extraordinary color and design, the ceiling is replete with a unique blend of artistic influences, imaginative symbolism, biblical references, and Benedictine iconography. The tour will also speak to the architecture of the Chapel Art Center, designed by the famed McGinnis and Walsh architectural firm early in the 20th century.

Featuring electrifying circus stunts, daredevil tennis tricks, audacious comedy, and a foreign accent, Tennis the Menace is sure to cause a real "Racket"! Always a crowd favorite, ALAKAZAM is a one-man, comedy circus sideshow that will have you reeling with laughter and twisting in your seat. Audiences the world over have been left breathless by his juggling, cheeky comedy and ridiculous, sky-high feats of danger. A mix of traditional vaudeville, circus sideshow and twisted comedy, ALAKAZAM's show is a self-contained freak-show suitable for the whole family! ALAKAZAM was also a grand finalist on "Australia's Got Talent" Season 1.

Brunch does require the purchase of a ticket including current students. Brunch tickets may be purchased in advance or in the Davison Hall lobby when you arrive Sunday morning. Children 8 and under will not be charged for their ticket. Saint Anselm College students are permitted to purchase only one brunch ticket with their meal plan in the Davison Office.
