This Program is held each Fall and includes live entertainment, tours, and various activities on campus. Family Weekend is an enjoyable way to join your Saint Anselm student on campus. Events include live performances in the Dana Theatre, a Family Fun Run/Walk, student club shows and performances, a reception with members of the college community, athletic events, family brunch, and Mass at the Abbey Church.

The schedule of events provides detailed information about the weekend and also indicates which items require you to purchase tickets. Please note, masks will be required at indoor events during Family Weekend.
**Please note, online sales through the Family Weekend purchase site will close Friday, October 1 by 10 a.m. After that time, sales for ticketed events will not be available until Saturday morning, October 2, 9 a.m. at the Welcome/Check-In Table in the Dana Center Lobby. Exception to this is the Dana Center ticket sales for the Abbey Players.**
Please remember that you must purchase a ticket for your student for any event that requires a ticket for admission.
- If you placed an order, your pre-ordered tickets and t-shirts will be under your students' name and can be picked up at the Welcome/Check-In Table in the Dana Center Lobby beginning Saturday morning, October 2.
- If you did not pre-order tickets, you may still purchase tickets and t-shirts while available during the weekend at the Welcome/Check-In Table on Saturday in the Dana Center Lobby.
- You may also purchase Brunch tickets and pick up any remaining t-shirts on Sunday morning in the Davison Hall Lobby.

Football game tickets will be available for purchase one hour before game time at the Grappone Ticket Booth.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1
Volleyball vs. Pace
5:30 p.m. (Stoutenburgh Gymnasium)
Come cheer on your lady Hawks as they compete against Pace University.
*The Anselmian Abbey Players Present: "Cabaret Night"
7:30 p.m. (Dana Center Theatre)
Join the Abbey Players for a night full of some of Broadway’s greatest hits! Both produced and performed by Saint Anselm students, this night will showcase the amazing talent students offer through various solos, duets, and group numbers. It is a night of beautiful music and fun that you will not want to miss.
Special Note: Abbey Players Cabaret tickets can be purchased through the Dana Center.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2
9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Dana Center Lobby)
Stop here to check in and pick up any pre-ordered tickets, t-shirts, and Fun Run information. Also, pick up a copy of the weekend schedule that includes sport events, Dana Theatre shows, student club performances, and many other weekend events.

If weather permits, the sign-in location will be outside under the pop-up tent on the Campus Green. You must have purchased and picked up your ticket for the Fun Run/Walk before coming to sign-in. We encourage pre-purchase through the online link. If purchasing day of you must go to the primary Family Weekend Welcome/Check-In table in the lobby of Dana.
*Family Fun Run/Walk
10 a.m. (Begins on the Campus Green roadway adjacent to Dana Center)
This fun run/walk through campus will award prizes to the top male and female runners in the following categories: Age 13 and over both male and female; Age 12 and below both male and female. All participants must sign in between 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to receive their runner's bib number. Registration fee is $12 and includes a Fun Run T-shirt. Pre-purchase strongly encouraged.

Family Weekend Reception

The reception will be hosted by our College President, Dr. Joseph Favazza. Family and friends are invited to enjoy light refreshments and meet members of the monastic community, faculty, administrators, as well as student representatives from various clubs and organizations.
Spotlight on Summer Student Research
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Outside the Event Space, Roger & Francine Jean Student Center)
Saint Anselm College’s summer is alive with researchers! Students, under the direction of faculty mentors, worked on significant research projects over the summer. The Saint Anselm College Honors Program along with the College’s NH-INBRE Program provide Summer Research Fellowships to support these efforts. Together, these groups form a summer research community. We will have some of these student researchers; both from Honors and INBRE programs share poster presentations with families in attendance.
Rescue Team Blood Pressure Screening

Director’s Tour of the Chapel Art Center’s Ceiling Murals
1 - 2 p.m. (Chapel Art Center)
Fr. Iain MacLellan, O.S.B., Director of the Chapel Art Center, will lead a guided tour of the Agnus Dei Ceiling Murals which decorate the ceiling of the Chapel Art Center. Completed in 1930, the mural decoration represents one of the most important artistic treasures at Saint Anselm College. Rich with extraordinary color and design, the ceiling is replete with a unique blend of artistic influences, imaginative symbolism, biblical references, and Benedictine iconography. The tour will also speak to the architecture of the Chapel Art Center, designed by the famed McGinnis and Walsh architectural firm early in the 20th century.

Brunch does require the purchase of a ticket including current students. Brunch tickets may be purchased in advance or in the Davison Hall lobby when you arrive Sunday morning. Children 8 and under will not be charged for their ticket. Saint Anselm College students are permitted to purchase only one brunch ticket with their meal plan in the Davison Office.
